BLURB: Rainier Beer has been personifying - well technically zoomorphizing - their product for over 50 years in their advertising. When Rainier asked us to launch a new Seltzer into the world we knew we needed to lean into that fantasy universe. Our main challenge was attracting seltzer drinkers without upsetting Rainier’s hardcore fan base. The solution was to ‘discover’ a brand new refreshing aquatic Rainier species. The campaign respected Rainier’s brand and simultaneously lured a new kind of Rainier drinker.
P.S. Using an old marine biologist to sell seltzer is the most Rainier thing ever.
